Non-Endorsement of Commercially Available Products
In the course of defining quality control tests for many monographs, the Standards and Controls Committee has sometimes reviewed test results conducted using either specific test equipment or specific reagents. In some cases, the information available to the committee volunteers included specific product names. The committee realizes that many of these may be available from multiple vendors; however, the Standards and Controls Committee has not verified that other available products will or will not provide comparable results.
Thus, the Standards and Controls Committee has, in limited instances, used the proprietary name of commercially available equipment or reagents. However, this is not to be understood as an endorsement by the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia Convention of the United States of that particular product, or that vendor's other products.
